The contour show blanket has revolutionized the Cutting, Cow Horse, and Ranch show pens… and we were the first company to bring you a full line of beautiful show blankets strictly with only contours. Whether we invented it or not is up for debate, but we definitely made it a priority and wouldn’t take no for an answer when the weavers said our patterns were too complex.
We committed to only building contour show blankets, because Fit Matters. And we’ve never looked back. After doing this, the public began demanding it, and soon other companies decided to try and start building their own in order to compete with us. We are honored to be the leaders in this revolution!
With that, we always knew if it could be done for the pleasure reiner style pattern this concept would likely do the same thing for those industries. However, this found us at yet another challenge. Contour blankets had certain limitations in order to build that contour shape. Those limitations included a vertical appearance and pleasure reiner style blankets are all vertical patterns. So we had two options,1) flip the pattern to run horizontally or 2) keep working till we could figure out a way to do it right. Flipping the pattern was out of the question for our founder
So we continued the quest, it has taken quite some time. We finally got it done for the first time in August of 2023. But we still weren’t completely happy with it, our founder invited Tim Bauer of Equine Oasis to join in on the project in 2024. Together they worked with the weavers to create what they both believe is the best quality show blanket the Reining & Pleasure worlds have ever seen. We launched that product at the end of 2024, and dubbed it as “The Slide N Glide, the world’s first structurally correct pleasure reiner style show blanket”. It’s continued to evolve as both Tim & Jennifer are committed to giving their customers the absolute best.
